Presented on June 13, 2022

The No Surprises Act (NSA) protects uninsured and self-pay individuals from unexpected high medical bills that arise after receiving out-of-network treatment. The implementation of the NSA impacts health care facilities and providers.

The NSA requires providers to deliver notice and a good faith estimate (GFE) of the cost of care to uninsured and self-pay patients prior to all scheduled services.

Watch the second installment of our two-part webcast on the No Surprises Act (NSA), in which we’ll focus on the GFE.
